Water Saver!

Today the girls got wheat grass. It had to be removed shortly after because they decided to dig and make mud.

In order to save on water getting everywhere and stinking up the brooder, I created a water saver from a plastic drawer system.  The duck water saver has saved me so much work!

Cut out the top and added hardware cloth.

Now the water falls into the drawer and is emptied. The pine shavings stay dry!

Goose and Daffy quickly learn to climb on it.

Quackers follows right along.
